Gamvas

I mostlyI mostly did web development during my graduation internship, so of course, I took the opportunity to make games out of that. With HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript with jQuery, I worked on three different games. The first two are work-oriented and tend more to be serious games. The last one echoes with the comic Tela Cricetinae.

Connect images together

The goal of this game is to connect each of the Coste illustrations in the left column to the corresponding plant photo in the right column. The interaction is done with the mouse, by drag’n drop between the illustration and the photo, which draws a line between the two.

ESCshuffle the images (illustrations and pictures)
Ddelete the last drawn line
SPACEcheck the connections
Keyboard shortcuts

Checking the connections will change temporarily the color of the lines: green for a correct answer, red for a wrong answer, and blue for lines that don’t connect two images.

Guess which environment

The goal of this game is to move each plant photo into the area of its corresponding environment. This is done by click’n moving: click on a photo to select it and click again to drop it on the scene.

ESCshuffle the images
SPACEcheck the environment
Keyboard shortcuts

Checking the environment will temporarily add a colored border around the photos: green for a correct answer, red for a wrong answer, and black for photos that are outside any environment area.

HamHam City

This game has zero rules. The main objective was to try doing as much as possible, using sprites, animation, and a particules system. The scene is basically a village for hamsters. Selecting a hamster is done with one click while a double click adds a new hamster to the scene. They can be fed or starved. A starved hamster will die after a certain amount of time. The color of the hamsters can be changed as well.
Three different themes, styles in the game, come with their specific set of actions. The Vero style is a hamster’s heaven whereas the Aurélien style is literal hell! The Ariane style is inspired by the TV show My Little Pony!
